As part of the DuPont Performance Coatings group of products, Standox has advantages not available to other paint companies. Our associated original equipment (OE) division, DuPont Herberts Automotive Systems, supplies paints to all the world’s major vehicle manufacturers. This close relationship means that Standox has formula information for all OE vehicle colors.

Accurate color matching however doesn’t stop at a manufacturer’s specifications. Variations can occur during the OE production process, resulting in vehicles that don’t perfectly match official color formula specification. We note and track these differences using a network of checkpoints throughout North America and Europe. Then at our color lab near Philadelphia, we collect all the data and create formulas to match any variant colors.
